William (Bill) Bailey is a credentialed ICF Associate Coach and a seasoned Department of Defense (DoD) acquisition expert with over 30 years of federal experience. He currently leads the Defense Acquisition University’s (DAU) Executive Coaching Program, overseeing a nationwide cadre of 60 coaches supporting the DoD Acquisition Workforce. A Professor of Contract Management and Learning Asset Manager for multiple Back-to-Basics courses, Bill brings deep functional expertise, instructional excellence, and leadership insight to every engagement. He is also completing a Doctor of Business Administration (DBA) from Florida Tech, where his research focuses on coaching effectiveness and cultural dynamics.
