- Context: Coaching has rapidly expanded, with over 109,000 practitioners worldwide, yet there is limited research on how cultural moderators affect the relationship between coach competencies and client perceptions of effectiveness.
Methodology
Sampling:
- Recruiting professional coaches through the International Coach Federation and other coaching organizations.
- Snowball sampling will enable coaches to invite their clients to participate in surveys.
- Target sample size: 400 coaches and 400 clients to ensure adequate statistical power.
Measurement Tools:
- Coach Competency: Measured using the Coaches Core Competency Assessment.
- Client Effectiveness Perceptions: Assessed with the Coaching Outcomes Measures.
- Cultural Values: Evaluated using the Cultural Values Scale.
